Day 4

We spent part of the day walking through the floors of the Pavilion - famous here since it was built 1500 years ago (several renovations since then). It is about 12 stories high - beautiful structure. There was a Chinese music performance, plenty of paintings and porcelain to view.

We had lunch at Papa Johns (don't worry, we've had plenty of Chinese food so far)!!

We also went to the main square that is famous for August 1, 1929, where they started the Red Army.

Addie is starting to feel more comfortable - she is moving around more, standing next to the bed and working her way around it. She can walk with one hand held. She is doing better eating, and learns to "ask" by reaching when she wants more.

It's funny that the Chinese are all concerned that the children are covered with clothes, jackets and even hats so they don't get cold (it was low 60's today). So they always check us and come over to adjust their hat or pull on the pantleg to cover their leg.

We do get plenty of attention here - too bad I can't strike up conversations with them!

We finished with a several dish (like eight) Chinese dinner!!
